Aatrox Drain Fighter (Conqueror) Guide
Aatrox is a drain fighter who wins long fights by healing off every Q. This is the Conqueror build into Hubris, Plated Steelcaps and Sundered Sky: rush damage first so your clear is fast and your ganks kill, then add the healing when teamfights start. Your cooldowns are long early, so full clear, skip even duels, and let level 6 and your first item turn you on. From there every fight runs the same way: R as it starts, W and Q sweet spots on the target who cannot dash, and chain the kills while the healing keeps you standing.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Q3 into Flash moves the sweet spot onto someone who thought they were safe, and Cosmic Insight brings Flash back sooner.
- •Two points in Q by level 3 every clear. With one point your early clear feels slow.
- •Into dashers like Bel'Veth, Nidalee and Ambessa, aim Q where they will land, not where they stand.
- •Into Shyvana, stay out of the spot where she lands when she transforms, and fight her after.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Full clear first. Your cooldowns are long and Conqueror needs your whole kit plus autos to stack, so skip fights you can only draw.
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:01, and by 2:58 once you are Master.
- •Clear top to bot and take the scuttle at the end of it.
- •Never spend a second Q rotation on one camp in your first clear; save it for the next camp.
- •If they invade you, walk away. Getting through the early game without dying is a win.

Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •Level 6 and your first item are when you start taking 1v1s: R in, and every Q heals you.
- •Force dragons. Smite and a Q3 sweet spot make the pit fight yours.
- •Two items is your spike. Sundered Sky, R and a full Conqueror heal you through extended fights.
- •Take fights from the side. A flank with R active is where you are strongest.
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Go in second. Let your team take the first CC, then walk in with R active and land Q on the group.
- •Q sweet spots on several targets win fights by themselves, and every one heals you.
- •Never start a fight without R. Without it your healing and damage drop hard.
- •Play around your strongest carry.
