Amumu Guide
Amumu is a Conqueror damage tank. Liandry's Torment comes first every game, and your W keeps its burn on everyone near you, so you are a real threat in a fight and not just a stun. The whole kit hangs on E: every attack that hits you brings it back sooner, so fights inside a minion wave, on grubs or in the middle of their team are where you win. Farm to level 6, then play around R: go in with Q and W ready, land R on as many as you can, and use your next Q to keep the chain going.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Your damage is W and E, not your attacks: keep W on and E on cooldown in every fight
- •From Emerald up, Aftershock is a fair swap for Conqueror; in Gold and below, stay on Conqueror
- •You take the first hits and do your damage at low health, which is why Last Stand pays off on you
- •Do not force ganks to stack your Domination rune for R; two to four stacks through the mid game is fine, and fights finish it
- •With only one Q ready, walk up or Flash into R range instead of throwing it, so the gank is guaranteed
- •You take dragon and herald slowly alone, so take them when they are free, not over a camp or a lane that needs you
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:09, and by 3:02 once you are Master
- •Clear top to bot
- •Save Smite for blue, red and Gromp, where only one monster hits you and E barely comes back; wolves, raptors and krugs die fast without it
- •Full clear, then farm for level 6, and only gank a lane that is pushed, low or without Flash
- •Base the moment Fated Ashes is affordable
- •Getting invaded or behind, walk away; without R you have no reason to take that fight
First Back

Regular full clear & crab
Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •Liandry's with R up is your fight window, so group for dragons and grubs and look for R angles that hit three
- •Fights inside a minion wave or on a camp are yours, because every hit you take brings E back sooner
- •After a kill, take the dragon, the tower or the reset, never the chase
- •Behind, play for your strongest teammate and tank for them instead of taking 1v1s
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Flank from fog and land R on as many as you can; never walk straight at five
- •Baron and dragon pits force them to group, and that is your R angle
- •After you engage, walk back toward your team instead of fighting to the death
- •Every item from here answers their comp, so build what their damage asks for, not a fixed order
