Trundle Guide
Trundle is an early game snowballer who wins fights by taking the enemy's stats. Q steals their AD and hands it to you, R takes their resists, and Trinity Force turns that into a jungler almost nobody can 1v1. Press the Attack is the default keystone. The build is Trinity Force first, then boots and tank items, so you can stay on top of your target for the whole fight. The plan is to use your spikes early and end the game before the scaling champions catch up.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Take Lethal Tempo over Press the Attack when their team is short range melee and you get to hit them for the whole fight.
- •Cast R after their defensive buff pops. It takes a share of the resists they have at that moment, so Rammus W, Sejuani's passive and Nasus R all feed you.
- •Magical Footwear and Approach Velocity close the last gap. W speed and the E slow on their own are usually just short of reaching a target.
- •A max range E holds a fight you cannot take yet while your team walks up.
- •Into Vi, E her while she is charging Q. The E stops the charge and sets up your kill.
- •Into Wukong, wait until you see his W go. Once it is down, R straight away with no fear of a fake.
- •Without Mercury's Treads, you need tenacity somewhere else in the build, because their CC is what keeps you off the carry.
- •In Gold, Lethal Tempo does as well as Press the Attack. From Emerald up, stay on Press the Attack.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:02, and by 2:54 once you are Master.
- •Clear top to bot, then take the scuttle.
- •Fight at scuttle. Q takes their AD and gives it to you, so you win almost every early 1v1, even into an AP jungler whose early damage is still mostly autos.
- •If you contest scuttle, open with R. Junglers almost never open with their escape, so R first is safe, and if you are not willing to spend R on scuttle, do not contest it.
- •On a gank, E from max range first to slow them, then walk into W range. W is your gap closer and your attack speed, so do not spend it before the chase needs it.
- •Shyvana and Graves are the junglers that beat you early. Do not walk into their scuttle fight without a lane nearby.

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •Trinity Force is the strongest you will be compared to the enemy. Base the moment it is affordable and use the spike right away: invade, force dragon, take a tower.
- •Q makes your autos hit towers hard, which makes you one of the best tower killers in the game. A lane you just won is a tower that falls fast.
- •Put W down before an objective dies. It speeds you up and grows the heal your passive gives when the objective dies, so you can turn and fight straight away.
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Your window is the first 15 minutes. Trundle games are not meant to go this late, so close them out with towers and objectives while your lead still counts.
- •R the squishy carry, not the stacked tank. Even after R a 200 armor tank stays tanky unless you built armor pen.
- •R, then W instantly. The speed keeps you on them, and the attack speed turns the resists you just took into damage.
- •E can cut a carry off from the fight while your team collapses on the front line.
