Zyra Guide
Zyra is a farming mage who wins by clearing faster than the enemy jungler and then fighting from a range nobody can answer. Rush Fated Ashes, full clear, and gank only when E can land on a slowed target. Your plants carry every item effect you buy, which is why Liandry's Torment comes first every game. Hold E for the moment someone dives you: it is your most important defensive spell, more important than Flash. From level 6, R and the plants around it decide fights, so play every fight slowly, from behind your frontline, at the edge of your range.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Farm over fight in every scenario, you clear fast enough to finish your camps before the fight starts
- •Never chase or overcommit to kills, you are a poke champion
- •Q plants have more range, E plants slow but reach less, use Q plants most of the time
- •Electrocute is the pick for ganks, Dark Harvest is the greedy pick that trades early gank damage for scaling
- •Your full build has no ability haste, so Legend: Haste and the haste shard are the only haste you get
- •Cut Down turns your long range poke into the damage that starts a fight before it starts
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 2:46, and by 2:34 once you are Master
- •Clear bot to top, then take the scuttle
- •Walk straight to your first camp when the game starts, your passive drops plants around you and you want them there when the camp spawns
- •On the first clear, wait a moment for your passive plants before you throw Q and E into the camp
- •Place W on the next camp while the current one is still dying, so you never sit on a full stack of W charges
- •Large camps give you a W charge back, so spend them freely on buff camps and Krugs
- •Plants hold a camp on their own for a few hits, so leave the end of a camp to them and start the next one, Krugs over the wall from Red works
- •You are not strong early, full clear every camp and only interact with lanes once your camps are done
- •Gank only when E can land, slow the target with red buff or your Scorchclaw first and root them after
- •Electrocute makes one early kill worth taking, and once you are ahead your items carry the poke from there
- •Only take dragon if you or a teammate can stand in front of your plants, dead plants do no damage
First Back

Regular full clear & crab
Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •Liandry's is your first real spike, from here every plant burns whatever it hits
- •Clear your camps with two W's placed, then join the fight, you should be farming between every play
- •Before a dragon or grubs, put one seed where it sees the river and another where it sees the pit, then stand in Smite range
- •Bait with your plants, place two just out of reach so the enemy walks into them thinking they are safe
- •How close you stand depends on their team, with no hard CC or dash walk up and Q in their face, into a Vi or a Draven stay at max range
- •Play every fight slowly and to poke, never overcommit
- •Always stand behind your teammates and step away from the threats
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Group with your team for objectives, alone you die to anyone who reaches you
- •Hold E for the dive, a target mid dash cannot cancel it, so it cannot miss
- •When they commit onto you, R on top of yourself
- •Drop R on the engage, not the chase, plants do nothing if the enemy is already running
- •With Zhonya's, cast R, spawn your plants and sit in Zhonya's while they do the damage
- •Stand behind your frontline at max range, one step too far forward and you are dead
- •Only farm a side lane with vision and an escape, getting collapsed on there can lose the game
