Fiddlesticks Guide

Patch 26.19 Iron-Emerald·Difficulty:

Fiddlesticks is an Electrocute burst mage who wins fights from fog. Clear fast, farm to level 6, and let R do the work: blink in from a bush or the fog line, keep them in the crows with Q and E, and finish with W while you stand on top of them. Hextech Rocketbelt comes first for the health, the dash and the haste that keeps R ready for every play, then Shadowflame and Zhonya's. If they can see you, you have already lost the fight.

Quick Tips

All phases

  • •Never show yourself on the map. Fiddlesticks lives and dies by fog of war. Always.
  • •Dark Seal after your first item, not before. Never slow your first item for it.
  • •Do not chase stacks on your hunter rune. Sitting on three is fine; walking into a fight for a stack is how you lose R.
  • •Electrocute is the keystone. Dark Harvest only pays off in games that go long.
  • •From Emerald up Electrocute is clearly right; in Gold, First Strike is the keystone that adds the most.

Before 1st item

  • •Start W and clear with it: drag the low camp into the next one and W both, so the last tick finishes one and starts the other.
  • •Keep E to pull the next camp to you, and walk into a fresh camp with E, then Q, then W, because a feared camp takes double Q.
  • •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:01, and by 2:58 once you are Master. That is the mark for every jungler.
  • •Level 6 is your spike, so clear every camp the moment it respawns; falling behind on camps is falling behind on R.
  • •Do not show bot lane or dragon pit while you clear. Stay in fog at all times.
  • •Raptors first if you are playing for dragon: it denies the invade and sets your timer.

  • •Farm camps and hold angles. Your team starts the objective; you arrive from fog.
  • •Never walk in front of your team. Hold the fog line and wait for them to face check you.
  • •Learn the R angles around every objective by heart: the bush, the wall and the fog line you blink from.
  • •Save R for objectives. A kill in a side lane right before Baron spawns costs you the fight that matters.
  • •Path toward the lane with priority or the teammate who wins the game, and time your clears to meet them there.

  • •One good R from a bush wins a fight your team cannot win straight up.
  • •If they are not contesting, take the objective. If they are, you fight first and take it after.
  • •Let them walk into you. Never chase: wait in a bush and let them come.
  • •Play every fight from a fog angle. If you are visible, you have already lost it.
