Hecarim Bruiser (Stormraider's) Guide
Hecarim is a farm first bruiser who turns movement speed into damage. Clear hard, carry your Q stacks from camp to camp, and make the play that walks into your farm instead of chasing lanes. This is the Stormraider's Surge into Spear of Shojin build the best Hecarims run: the second Shojin completes you are the one who starts fights. Walk in, E through the carry, R point blank into the group, and keep Q spinning while W heals you off everything you hit.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Into Graves, sit on an early Cloth Armor that turns into Death's Dance. Once the armor stacks, his autos stop hurting.
- •Into Sejuani, R the instant you see her first dash. If she does not dash, just react.
- •Into Shyvana and Wukong, your two worst matchups, full clear and scale to Spear of Shojin and Death's Dance before you take the fight.
- •Black Cleaver is better on a teammate. Check their items before you build it yourself.
- •Ping every Flash you burn. That target is a free second gank.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 2:56, and by 2:52 once you are Master.
- •Do not start blue buff: you are slow through blue into gromp. Open raptors and full clear to scuttle, or take three camps off red into a top side play only if the level 3 play is really there.
- •Drag each camp toward the next one and finish it with Q, so your Q stacks walk into the next camp with you. Raptors to wolves at level 3 is the one that matters most.
- •The first four minutes are your weakest window. Solve your own clear before you worry about a teammate's lane.
- •Gank patiently: run in with E held and Ghost ready, fake the E, and when they panic Flash, run past them and knock them back into your laner.
- •Buy boots on your first back. They are never the wrong buy early on Hecarim.

Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •Once Spear of Shojin is done, stop waiting for the enemy to act. Look for fights and start them.
- •Pre stack Q on a camp, a wave or the objective before a fight so you walk in with the cooldown already short.
- •Level 9 with five points in Q is a big damage step, and level 13 with W maxed is the next one.
- •You are the engage when you have the best tool on the team. If a teammate has the safer engage that game, flank and follow theirs.
- •Farm first, then make the play that is close to your camps. You are not a fast Baron team, so only start it when your team has the damage to finish it.
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Play teamfights patiently: Q the front line to build stacks, E onto a carry, then a point blank R nobody can dodge.
- •A max range R is easy to sidestep. Only throw it long into a team with no dashes or Flash left.
- •Pop Ghost before R, not after, so your autos and Q hit at full speed the moment the fear ends.
- •Uptime over clearing: if your team is pressuring, be with them, not on your camps.
