Rengar Lethality (Fleet Footwork) Guide
Rengar is an assassin who hunts from the bushes. This is the lethality build: Fleet Footwork, then Umbral Glaive into Profane Hydra and Lord Dominik's Regards, the path the best Rengar players run. Every kill starts the same way: four stacks, a bush, and a target who walked away from their team. You are at your strongest early and again late, and weakest in the middle of the game, so farm and pick off stragglers through the mid game instead of walking into five versus five fights.
Runes
Quick Tips
All phases
- •Get to the river before their jungler does. Whoever holds the bush first gets the free jump.
- •Stay on Fleet Footwork at every rank. Conqueror only holds its own in Gold and costs you games from Emerald up.
- •A kill you cannot finish is still worth three stacks and a W: end the combo early and heal back out instead of dying for it.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:04, and by 2:58 once you are Master.
- •Clear top to bot.
- •Walk into a bush before each camp so the first attack comes from hiding and gives you a free stack.
- •Finish your last camp at four stacks and walk it toward the lane you want to gank; the stacks hold as long as you keep hitting.
- •From level 3 you have a full kill combo, so a gank from a bush on a lane with no Flash is a real kill.
- •Rengar is one of the best counter gankers in the game: when their jungler shows on a lane near you, get there and jump whoever is lowest.

Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •This is your weakest window. Farm, take picks on anyone who walks out alone, and skip the five versus five.
- •When you are ahead, sit in their jungle entrances with vision cleared and make every path they take unsafe.
- •When you are behind, look for fights near an isolated lane or trade objectives across the map rather than forcing into their vision.
- •With a lead, push a side lane; the pull it creates lets your team take dragon or Baron with a numbers edge.
- •After a kill, convert: take the tower, the camp or the objective, then base. Chasing the leftovers is how Rengar gives the gold back.
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Play through your strongest carry. You do not win the game alone; you remove the one enemy who would stop your team.
- •Wait for their frontline to spend its spells on your team, then jump the carry.
- •Stand behind their team before the fight so they have to turn and peel instead of walking forward.
- •One for one trades are fine late only when they win the objective; a trade that wins nothing costs you your R and the next fight.
