Shyvana On-Hit (Kraken Slayer) Guide
Shyvana is a farming fighter who is weak until level 6 and strong whenever R is up. This is the Kraken Slayer on-hit build with Press the Attack: Kraken Slayer, Dusk and Dawn and Death's Dance, the path the highest ranked Shyvana players run, because all of your damage is attacks and Q. You full clear, you get to 6, and you only fight with R up. Every camp you take makes you tankier through P, so farming is never wasted time. Her weak point has always been sticking to a target, which is why the build, the runes and E all exist to keep you on them.

Quick Tips
All phases
- •Into a tanky team, Conqueror with Legend: Alacrity is a fine swap, and in Gold and below it is at least as good as Press the Attack.
- •Stay on the AD build, the AP build is not worth it.
- •Kraken Slayer does its best work in Gold and below, and from Emerald up the Trinity Force guide is the steadier first item.
- •A spare 350 gold on a back buys Dark Seal, one of the most efficient items you can pick up.
- •Magical Footwear matters more on Shyvana than most, the speed helps fix how hard she finds it to stick to targets.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Clear top to bot.
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 2:56, and by 2:53 once you are Master.
- •Full clear and be on your camps on spawn, farm comes before everything until 6
- •No ganks before 6, not even a lane that looks free, you have no way in and a failed gank only delays the level that makes you strong
- •Do not contest scuttle or an invade against a stronger early jungler, give it up and keep farming
- •Clear your top side camps first, then base, then start Dragon the moment it spawns
- •Two Long Swords and a Dagger build Hearthbound Axe, the first piece of Kraken Slayer, then Recurve Bow and the Long Sword for Rectrix finish it
- •When R runs out in the middle of a camp, let it end and start building fury again, so the next R is up for the next fight
First Back

Regular full clear & crab
Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •R up means you fight, R down means you farm camps
- •Make one play with R, then stop, farm and wait for the next one
- •Use R to close the gap and land all your Q damage, most of your damage is Q
- •Two items and a full clear worth of P stacks is where you start winning duels
- •When you are ahead in levels, items or R, you have to press it: invade, and stack every Dragon and Herald
- •Base and spend your gold before a Baron or Dragon fight, a finished item wins the fight 30 seconds later
- •Base for Kraken Slayer the moment it is affordable, even if you could probably win a fight now, the fight after the back is far more one sided
- •Behind, just keep farming, the items and the P stacks still come
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Go in second: wait for their engage or yours, then R in behind it
- •Look for a flank where R crosses a wall onto their carry
- •Kill the fed carry, not the jungler you personally want dead
- •At four items you want every fight you can get
- •Level 13 is a big spike, W comes back fast enough to use in every trade
