Taliyah Guide
Taliyah is a fast clearing mage who wins by reaching her items before anyone else. Run Dark Harvest, farm to Blackfire Torch, and treat level 9 as the switch: with Q maxed, Blackfire Torch and Sorcerer's Shoes you stop farming around fights and start taking them. Everything in your kit runs through Q, so the skill that decides your games is choosing when a Q should be empowered. R moves you across the map; it does not win the fight for you, so arrive with it, then fight from max Q range where their engage cannot reach you.
Runes
Quick Tips
All phases
- •An enemy at 10 to 15 percent health survives a plain Q but not an empowered one, so save the empowered Q for the finish.
- •Legend: Haste is there because Q and E are the whole kit, and every second off them is another cast.
- •Level 1 always takes Q; the empowered first Q is what holds your first camp still.
- •If you play in Gold, First Strike is a fine swap for Dark Harvest; from Emerald up, stay on Dark Harvest.
Skill Priority
Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Start your first camp with one empowered Q to hold it in place, then clear the rest with plain five rock Qs.
- •Watch the damage number your Q shows as the camp dies: if a plain Q, one auto and your pet finish the camp, do not spend the empowered Q.
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 2:59, and by 2:54 once you are Master.
- •Before Blackfire Torch you are a farmer: full clear, take the crab, and only fight what you are sure to win.
- •Base the moment Fated Ashes is affordable; it adds more camp damage than Lost Chapter, and Dark Seal comes right after.
First Back

Regular full clear & crab
Core Build Examples

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •With Blackfire Torch and Shadowflame you already have the damage to kill most champions, so your next item can be the one that keeps you alive.
- •Your Q range is your safety: stand at max range, zone them off the camp or the objective, and never walk into melee to finish.
- •Commit when R and Flash are both up; while R is down, clear and wait.
- •A kill or a won fight is a reset: take the objective or base and spend, do not chase.
Situational

Late Game
4+ items
- •Stay behind your frontline and throw Q from max range; one engage that reaches you ends your fight.
- •Play around your strongest teammate and arrive on their timing, never before them.
- •Void Staff goes before Rabadon's the moment their team has real magic resist.
