Zac Engage (Conqueror) Guide
Patch 26.19 Iron-Emerald·Difficulty:
Zac Engage is the Conqueror build that rushes Hextech Rocketbelt, the path most of the best Zac players run. Your early game is weak, so full clear and farm until E has ranks, then use E to reach any lane from anywhere. You peak around three items, Rocketbelt, Sunfire Aegis and Spirit Visage, and every fight you start should end with Q, then R, sending them into your team.
Runes
Quick Tips
All phases
- •Decide from the loading screen which lanes you gank: carries with no dash cannot dodge E.
- •If a minion blocks your Q, Smite the minion and Q the champion.
- •With red buff, attack before you press R, so the burn slows them for the whole chase.
- •Press W every time it is up while you clear; late casts cost you seconds on every camp.
- •Do not play scared with R, Flash and P up: you are very hard to kill, so take the fight your bot lane is next to.

Early Game
Before 1st item
- •Clear top to bot.
- •Your first clear should have you level 4 by 3:07, and by 3:02 once you are Master.
- •Your early game is weak and your clear is slower than most junglers, so full clear first and do not gank top or bot at level 3.
- •A level 3 gank mid is only worth it when the kill is certain, because it hands the enemy jungler your buff and your tempo.
- •Cast W before you pick up a P chunk on every camp; wasted refunds add up to seconds over a full clear.
- •From level 4 look for ganks; if the lanes near you have no priority, take the other scuttle instead of forcing it.
- •Pick lanes with no dash first. E is short at low rank, but check the lane anyway, because you cannot know it is gankable without looking.

Mid Game
1-3 items
- •This is your window: after your first item you are one of the strongest junglers on the map, so play for free ganks and objectives.
- •Go for the first dragon right after your first back when you can, and keep stacking dragons.
- •Burning their Flash is a good gank even without the kill; P gets you back out without spending your own Flash.
- •Chase to chunk the target and burn their R, then stop and reconnect with your team instead of running deeper alone.
- •Level 9 puts a third rank in E, which reaches mid lane from the raptors, so your ganks get almost impossible to ward.

Late Game
4+ items
- •You peak around three items and then level off, but that does not mean you are helpless late; fight when your carries have their items.
- •Only dive the backline when you have follow up, R, or a solo kill; otherwise stay back and peel.
- •Keep every fight inside your carry's range, because they are the damage and you are the reason the fight happens.
- •You can charge E toward them without flying to threaten an engage at an objective; cancelling it refunds half the cooldown.
